Depart Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou and Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Head to Todra Gorges for a scenic hike between narrow canyon walls. Continue to the picturesque Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a guesthouse.
Pass through Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop. Arrive in Merzouga, mount camels into the golden dunes, watch the sunset, and stay overnight in a desert camp with Berber music.
Watch early morning sunrise over the dunes. Visit Rissani's traditional souk and the ancient ruins of Sijilmassa. Drive back through the palm groves of Draa Valley to Ouarzazate.
